Forensic post-mortems for prop traders

Your account didn’t die of bad luck. Something killed it.

Send your trade export. Within 24 hours you get a forensic report built from your own fills: the exact sequence that ended the account, the patterns that set it up, and the three rules that — replayed against your actual trades — would have kept it alive.

What you get

One report. Every number from your own fills, arithmetic shown.

No course, no coaching calls, no talk about feelings. A document, built from the only honest witness to what happened: the trade log.

The kill sequence

The run of trades that actually ended the account, reconstructed fill by fill from the day’s high-water mark to the breach — time, side, size, hold, P&L — with the arithmetic reconciled to the cent.

The patterns, measured

Size after losers vs winners. Re-entry speed after losing streaks, and what those trades cost. Hold time on losers vs winners. Red-day vs green-day trade counts. Which hours take your money. Each with sample sizes shown — thin evidence is labeled as thin.

The rules that save it

Three mechanical rules replayed against your actual trade list — same trades, same order, rule enforced, no hindsight trade-picking — with the ending balance your account would have had under each one.

Checked before it ships

Every number is computed twice. The report ships with the receipts.

Independent recomputation. Every headline figure — total P&L, the breach, the kill-sequence arithmetic, each rule replay — is recalculated through a second, separate code path and must match exactly before the report can be sent.
No generic advice. A sentence that could be pasted into another trader’s report gets cut. If a claim rests on fewer than ten trades, the report says so.
Honest limits, stated. A fills-only export can’t show what you saw on the chart or the trades you skipped. The report has a section for exactly what it cannot conclude.

How it works

Two files in. One verdict out. 24 hours.

Send the export

Your trade history CSV (TopstepX/ProjectX, Tradovate, or NinjaTrader — as exported) plus your account’s rules: starting balance, daily loss limit, max loss limit. Two-minute checklist →

The autopsy runs

Every fill is parsed, the account’s death is located and reconstructed, the behavioral patterns are measured, and three rules are replayed against your real trade list.

You get the report

Within 24 hours of complete data: the report (prints cleanly to PDF) and its verification log. If your export can’t be analyzed, you don’t pay.

Price

A reset buys you a new account. This tells you why you keep buying them.

For scale: a reset or new evaluation runs $50–$300, and most traders buy several before anything changes. The autopsy is priced at less than one of them.

Who’s doing the work

Written by someone who’s been on your side of the blowup.

I trade futures full time — MNQ and MES, prop firm accounts, every day. I’ve blown accounts the same ways you have, and I sit in the same Discords. Before trading I ran a home building company for 22 years; my whole working life has been handing people a finished thing, not advice. This is the report I wanted after my own blowups and couldn’t buy anywhere.

Questions
What exactly do I send?
Two things: the trade history CSV your platform exports (every trade in the account’s life, not just the last day) and your account’s rules — starting balance, profit target, daily loss limit, max loss limit. The intake checklist shows where the export button is for each platform.
My platform isn’t TopstepX, Tradovate, or NinjaTrader.
Send whatever CSV you have. If it shows entry/exit times, size, and P&L per trade, it almost certainly works — and I’ll tell you immediately if it doesn’t. If it can’t be analyzed, you don’t pay.
What happens to my data?
It’s used to produce your report and for nothing else. It isn’t shared, posted, or pooled. The report is yours.
Will this make me profitable?
No promise of that, and you should walk away from anyone who offers one. The report shows, with your own numbers, what ended this account and what the same trade list looks like under three enforced rules. What you do with that is trading — and that part is yours.

You already paid for the data.
It’s in the export.

The next reset costs more than the autopsy. Find out what you’re paying to repeat.
